We’re playing a party at Plan B on the 27th October for our friends Matthew and Jess. They’ve set up a charity/foundation for young folks with tourettes syndrome. Come and show some support to a good cause. Gabriel from the Heatwave and MC Rubi Dan will be playing too and the appropriately named Al Tourettes. We’ve made a track for them too. I think it’ll be up to download for free from somewhere soon. We’ll let you know.

…my favourite comment from the internet about us bears. Album is very nearly wrapped up. We’ve a bunch of gigs with Annie Mac coming up (‘av a look ‘av a look) and we’re getting our own pod on the London eye to play music in for an hour thanks to the good folk at Redbull. Lots of remixes coming soon too. Oh and I’m off to talk like a African from Marz. I reckon it’ll be a bit like the 3rd Stone From The Sun, Under The Light Of A Beedle Moon.

PHEW!
Plenty summertime fun has been had since the last missive, and there’s still a bit more to be wrung out of it in the next couple of weeks. Ibiza was a huge laugh, the PA went well on the radio and we had a great time playing in the Red Room at Space (thanks to Jaymo and Andy George)
Since then we’ve played in Portugal by the sea, Zurich by a lake and Crickhowell by some hills.
The Greenman festival was brilliant and a fitting debut for our BUNGA BUNGA parties with Jim and Severino Horsemeat. (Keep em peeled for news of the next one)

This Friday we are playing at Corsica Studios for the launch of our dear friend Toddla T’s new album. Zed Bias is doing an old school garage set, Martelo’s in the building and there’s UK soul sirens wahey with Shola and Terri Walker representing. Rodney Manuva was supposed to be playing too but can’t now. His shoes will be ably filled by Jonathan More of Coldcut. GIRLS MUSIC all night long.
On Saturday we’re off up North to Creamfields to play on the Annie Mac presents stage at 5.30.
Sunday I’m playing cricket, then Monday I’ll be playing at a Snowbombing related party at the carnival. If I can get my hands on the flier for that I’ll stick it up.

August is looking like this…
We have our jolly @ Green Man on Aug 19th, Death Disco in Glasgow in the 20th, album launch party runnings with Toddles @ Corsica Studios on the 26th, Creamfields on the 27th but first there’s the RADIO 1 weekend in Ibiza.
We’re doing a PA of Bearhug LIVE pon the wireless on Friday night around 8 (Hello Mum!) then it’s off to bathe in calamari before playing at Space later in the night.

Plenty to report. We’re bearhugging all over the gaff. It’s been getting played in the daytime on Radio 1 which is MENTAL. We won the Nihal Review show the other night. Champione Del Mundo, as Joe put it.
BIG love to all who showed out to any of our gigs at Glastonbury. We had a brilliant time and I only fell over in the mud once, which on the form of previous years is excellent going.
We have our BUNGA BUNGA party at the Greenman Festival on August 19th, and we’re playing at Spaced in Ibiza as part of the Radio 1 weekend on August 5th. There’s the next GIRLS MUSIC rave at Corsica Studios on Aug 26th and Creamfields that same weekend. Before all of that we have BEAR FACTORY at the Dalston Superstore on July 30th.

Album runnings are smooth and we should be all done by the end of the month, Ready for blast-off in the autumn.

We’re starting a new party in London called BUNGA BUNGA in the autumn with our friends Jim and Severino from the mighty Horsemeat Disco.
